Did I mention I had to remove my own toenail?

I did. I hurt it out in the desert, it turned black and HALF of it detached. Having gone through this before I knew that the whole thing had to be removed or the new one would grow in wrong.

So, I did what I had to.. I sterilized a pair of needle nosed pliers, grabbed on and RIPPED it off. Hurt.
