Bob Crane.

They're building a BAR on the top of my building, which is funny because my building is pretty run down. Because of the added weight on the roof, they had to thicken the walls, that was an ordeal all by it's self, another post..

Today something interesting happened though, they brought a crane into the tiny little alley way behind our building to lift some giant steel girders up to the roof. So, these are the pictures of that!

Hard to really tell from this picture but this alley way is TINY, how they got this crane in and around the corner is beyond me.



My building sits on the corner, the building behind and to the left of mine made a big L behind us, they tore down both of these buildings. The neat thing is that these buildings were kind of connected to each other because they had common walls, so when they ripped out the two buildings, they exposed some interesting features.
