Rank hath BULLSHIT!

Today, for several hours, an SUV was parked at an expired meter. The car had plain plates, no lights, no markings, no nothing.




It had some personal items strewn about, like any old car. What was different was the plaque on the dash that said, "State of California. Law Enforcement Vehicle. Official Business." Personally, I have the feeling that this was bullshit. It REALLY looked to me like somebody was downtown doing some shopping or similar and was abusing the dash plaque.




I was pleased to see, later in the day, that my girl Tomaseia also thought something was up and wrote them a "courtesy ticket." Too bad it wasn't the real thing..
