ASSHOLES get to take pictures of NEW cars

5th and something, downtown LA, I'm coming out of an underground food court after a nice indian lunch when I notice across the street a photo shoot. I love photoshoots!

So these guys are setting up to shoot a car, they have a lane or two of traffic coned off on the public street, the neatest thing is what looks like a a long lexan box-tube-arm-thingy hanging off the car with a h3d and a power wizard. This is what caught my eye and got me taking pictures.

I shot a couple of from across the street, then since it was on my way to work, I crossed and shot a couple from right next to the shoot. All of a sudden a guy comes up to me and says, "you can't take pictures of this, it's a private photoshoot." I start to talk to him and he says again, "no pictures!!"

Now heres the thing, I have every right to take all of the pictures I want, they're on a public street, nothing to prevent me from seeing or shooting this, NO reasonable expectation of privacy. I've even taken a few pictures already, I ALREADY *HAVE* PICTURES. So when this guy starts acting like and ass to me, I'm kind of taken aback, when you WANT something from somebody you have to be NICE to them if you can't force them to do what you want. I think the guy got this about this time because he says, "Cmon dude, this is an unreleased car (it's a 2009 hyundai genesis, there's a ton of pictures online), please don't take pictures." I decided to be nice to them, I want to tell them that I understand their position, and I'm going to tell them not to worry, I wont post the pictures I ALREADY HAVE, online, I say, "Ok, look, I won't..." Then he buddy comes up and starts saying to me, "LOOK, THIS IS HOW THIS IS DONE, YOU CAN'T TAKE PICTURES!!!"

The guy starts putting his hand in front of my camera and being very insistent, now my motto kicks in, "the harder you resist, the harder I push," and I start taunting them. I realize that I have the pictures of the camera rig, and, though I really couldn't care about a HYUNDI GENESIS, I have pictures of it too, so now the story is them trying to prevent me from taking pictures. I shoot a picture of his hand, this makes me laugh and they seem angry, I turn my camera to video, hold it over my head keep away style and start shooting, I say, "haha, your hands are what I want to see!!" They try to wave their hands in front of me as I move my camera left and right, they comically follow me about a second behind, definitely check out the video, it's funny!
